Grassfed, Organic Meat and Eggs focus of Summer Citizens Advisory Council Meeting

The CIAS Citizens Advisory Council met on July 25 at council member Tom Lutsey’s farm near Bailey’s Harbor, WI. Tom, his family and his staff raise certified organic beef, heritage pork and poultry at Waseda Farms. They also have almost two acres of produce. Their cattle graze on more than three hundred acres of pasture, and the farm has a state-of-the-art cattle handling system designed and developed by Temple Grandin and Mark Deesing. Waseda Farms has two retail locations: a small on-farm store and a larger store in De Pere.
