Market Farm Madness: Final Four!

Posted April 2019

Like most growing seasons, this year’s Market Farm Madness tournament has been filled with raw emotion and unexpected twists. There’s the Cinderella story of the eleventh-seeded Walk-in Cooler running up the score faster than it runs up your electric bill. And the continued dominance of our reigning champion, Spreadsheets, despite fierce competition from tested tools that brave the elements, day after day. The four surviving tools are:

Wheel Hoe v. Walk-in Cooler

Spreadsheets v. Hoophouse

Results from the Elite 8:

  • The stacked, senior-laden Harvest Crates fall against the Walk-in Cooler. 63% to 38%
  • Cultivating Tractor doesn’t start well and is left outside of the final 4 by Spreadsheets. 57% to 43%
  • Is this the Hoophouse’s season? It easily avoids a collapse against the Watering Wand. 86% to 14%
  • Wheel Hoe overcomes Spring Tine Cultivator with a versatile array of quick-change tools. 72% to 28%
