This instructor guide provides resources for using the Values-Based Food Supply Chain Case Studies in three types of university courses: agricultural and food marketing, cooperatives, and food systems. The richness of the cases enables instructors to escape the disciplinary confines of their courses and selectively introduce concepts and issues from other courses. The case studies in this series and the teaching materials presented here can also be of great value in other university courses that touch on issues related to food marketing systems and sustainable agriculture and in extension education activities directed toward policy makers, farmers and other values-based food supply chain participants.
