Craft Hard Cider Season is fast approaching. To get you prepared for cider season Nick Smith and Eric May will teach you and discuss their methodologies for managing cider fermentation. Nick and Eric will guide you through two key areas of cider production: fermentation and preparation for packaging. Key focus will be on management, prevention, and recovery of common flaws that may occur during cider production. During break-out sessions, participants will be challenged on their cider knowledge when they are presented with flawed ciders. Can you identify the flaw, where it originated, how to prevent it, and if possible, how to save the cider?
