Nadia Alber has an M.S. in Environment & Resources from the Gaylord Nelson Institute for Environmental Studies at University of Wisconsin-Madison. Alber taught math, environmental science, agriculture, and outdoor education at three different schools between her graduation from college and before she started her graduate degree. From December 2011 until the present, Alber has worked at UW-Madison as an Outreach Specialist. She directs the Wisconsin School for Beginning Dairy & Livestock Farmers (WSBDF), which is part of the Farm & Industry Short Course (FISC) and the Center. Alber helped to develop, coordinate and teach three continuing education courses for beginning graziers. Courses are offered in-person and online from 2012 until present.
