On April 15, 2020, CIAS and UW-Madison CALS Global sponsored a webinar with Torsten Hemme from the International Farm Comparison Network. This webinar was hosted by the Wisconsin Farmers Union as part of their Dairy Together education call. The purpose of this webinar was to gain an understanding of dairy growth and management policies from a global perspective. Dr. Hemme discussed approaches to balancing supply and demand, both in short-term, emergency situations and at the longer-term, structural level.
