Through UW-Madison’s leadership in organic agriculture, and building upon the 2022 report “Grow Organic: The Climate Health and Economic Case for Expanding Organic Agriculture,” we will be hosting a two-day international summit on the UW-Madison campus, themed “Organic Agriculture as a Solution to Global Challenges,” to be held on April 8th and 9th, 2025.
This event will feature a series of panels and discussions involving both domestic and international experts and discussions will span challenges we face as a global society and highlight how organic agriculture can serve as a solution to these challenges. Panelists will discuss their research and personal experience that document the positive impacts of organic management and markets, with ample time for audience engagement.
