Midwest Farmers of Color Soil Health Network: Building Healthy Soils Virtual Workshop Series
The Midwest Farmers of Color Soil Health Network is offering a three-part webinar series for farmers interested in learning about soil health.
The Midwest Farmers of Color Soil Health Network (MFCSHN) is a 5-year project funded in part by the Soil Health Alliance for Research & Engagement(SHARE) to support BIPOC-led orgs in helping farmers use soil health practices to successfully start farming.
SHARE is a cooperative effort between the U.S. Dairy Forage Research Center, UW Madison, and the Michael Fields Agricultural Institute to conduct impactful research and outreach efforts focused on soil health.
Our goal is to provide farmers of all experience levels with the necessary information and resources to evaluate their soil and make management decisions aimed at building healthy soils.
All workshops are free to attend and Spanish and Hmong interpretation will be available for all three workshops.
