    Join us for a day of demos and discussion about equipment in organic grain systems at our UW-Madison Research Station. See an inter-row mower and roller crimper in action. Come with questions! 10:00am-3:00pm

    Dive into organic practices including warm season annuals/forages, modifying equipment for different planting spacing (corn and wheat), experimental no-till planting, and using spacing and soil cover (in cover crops/rolled rye) for weed control and soil heath. 11:00am-3:30pm

    The OGRAIN (Organic Grain Resource and Information Network) program provides resources and support for new, transitioning, and experienced organic grain farmers in the upper Midwest. OGRAIN is housed in the Organic and Sustainable Agriculture Research and Extension Program within the University of Wisconsin-Madison Department of Plant Pathology under the leadership of associate professor Dr. Erin Silva.
